BFC
The Building Financial Capability (BFC) programme helps people and whānau to improve their financial wealth and wellbeing and get control
NSBS is one of the only financial mentoring organisations in the country that caters especially to seniors and retirees to provide financial security and peace of mind. We offer a special BFC-Plus Senior programme to elderly people who may feel isolated in a digital banking world and want someone trustworthy to micromanage all their day-to-day money matters, pay their bills, and protect their financial future.
This holistic and all-encompassing money management service improves the wellbeing of seniors who are struggling in today’s cashless world of digital banking and are concerned about financial scams and online crimes by safeguarding their financial future.
Other seniors who are more independent and digitally experienced may opt to take up our BFC-programme to improve their money capability resilience and ensure their financial nest egg. Our mentors teach senior clients about legacy planning, debt management and reduction, buy-now-pay-later services, living on a pension, lending to family and friends, safety measures and protection from cybercrime, and digital inclusion in a world of contactless banking.
Seniors are particularly prone to falling victim to financial scams, not because they’re not smart or careless or old, but because they may take their eye off their ball and be too willing to trust. You can rely on NSBS mentors to protect your money and give you the opportunity to embrace your golden years knowing that your daily bills will be paid and your nest egg safe-guarded.
At NSBS we understand that saving money and budgeting can be a challenge, that’s why we offer a variety of services to help you reach your financial goals without having to worry.
